Orchestra Conductor, he graduated with full marks in “Violin”, “Choral Music and Choir Conducting” and “Orchestra Conducting” at the conservatoire “L. Refice” of Frosinone. He graduated and after attended the “Courses of high musical improvement” in violin at the “Fondazione Romano Romanini” of Brescia with Maestro Dora Schwartzberg and at “ L’Ars Academy” of Rome with Maestro M. Fiorentini. He won the following competitions: A.GI.MUS., “V. Mancini”, proposed by Rotary Club of Frosinone, “Premio Musica 2001” of Rome, “V Concorso Nazionale Hyperion”. In 2002 he won an audition with the “World Youth Orchestra”, playing also the role of violin soloist. He has also collaborated with the “Filarmonici di Roma”, conducted by the violinist Uto Ughi, performing with them in international theatres in Italy and abroad. He has attended various courses in choir conducting with Maestros B. Zagni, G.Kirschener, and “Courses for Choirmasters in Europe Academy” held by the with Maestro G. Graden.

After graduating as a conductor under the guidance of Maestro Dario Lucantoni, he attended various courses: at the association “F. Fenaroli “ in Lanciano for substitutes maestros with Maestro D. Lucantoni; at the “Chigiana Academy of Music” of Siena with Maestro G. Gelmetti; and Maestro R.Muti in the “İtalianoperaacademy”.

In 2008 he signed a contract as Orchestra Conductor at the Ankara State Opera House, and in the 2013 he became General Music Director of the theatre. Since 2007, he has intense artistic activity as orchestra conductor at State Opera Houses as Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir and Antalya.

He won in 2006 a prize as “FE.NI.A.R.CO best Choir Conductor”. In 2006 and 2007 he won the ” IBM Award Best Orchestra Conductor ” President jury Maestro Lior Shambadal in San Gemini ( Tr ) .
In May 2013 he has received the ” Semiha Berksoy award for Best Opera Conductor” of the opera season in Turkey 2012/2013 .

Maestro Cedrone conducted several operas as: “Don Pasquale”, “Convenienze ed incovenienze teatrali” and “Rita” (G.Donizetti); “ I Puritani” (V.Bellini); “Il Segreto di Susanna” (Wolf-Ferrari); “Così Fan Tutte” (W.A.Mozart); “Manon Lescaut”, “Tosca”, “ La Bohème” ,”Turandot” “G.Schicchi” (G.Puccini); “Tamerlano” (G.F. Haendel); “La Cambiale di Matrimonio”, “Il Signor Bruschino”, “Il Barbiere di Siviglia”, “Maometto II”, “La Cenerentola” (G.Rossini); “Macbeth”, “La Traviata”, “Attila”, “Rigoletto” e “Aida” (G.Verdi); ”Carmen” G.Bızet, etc…

In 2011 July Istanbul State Opera and Ballet invited him for the “International Istanbul Opera Festival” opening program as a orchestra director for “Maometto II” of G. Rossini. In 2013 and 2014 he conducted “Rigoletto” and “Attila” of Giuseppe Verdi at the “Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival”, performing with Ankara Opera House.

In the August 2016 conducted “Tosca” at the Taormina Ancient Theatre in the “Taormina Opera Festival 2016”. The Bellininews has written about him: “ The Maestro Alessandro Cedrone gave to the difficult and poignant score a cured and refined reading, by getting the exact tempo and through a clear and determined gesture . The orchestra sound has never been overlying the singers part.”

From 2019 is the General Music Director of “Romanian National Opera  Iasi”.

Alessandro Cedrone also performs a lot of symphonic repertoire with big success with symphonic orchestras as “Presidential Symphony Orchestra”, “Bursa State Symphony Orchestra”,  and “Izmir State Symphony Orchestra”, “Great Toronto Symphony Orchestra”.
