Conductor, he graduated with full marks in “Violin”, “Choral Music and Choral Conducting” and “Orchestra Conducting” at the “L. Refice” music conservatory in Frosinone, achieving in the same conservatory of music the Master’s Degree in “Violin – Solo Music” with 110 cum laude. He attended the violin “Courses of high musical perfection” at the “Romano Romanini Foundation” in Brescia with Maestro Dora Schwartzberg and at the “ArsAcademy” in Rome with Maestro M. Fiorentini. Winner of several competitions for solo violin including: A.GI.MUS., “V. Mancini” established by the Rotary club of Frosinone, “Premio Musica 2001” in Rome, “V National Hyperion competition”. He had an intense activity as a violinist with the “Filarmonici di Roma” directed by the violinist M ° Uto Ughi, and M ° G. Pretre, performing in prestigious theatres in Italy and abroad. He attended several courses for “Choral Music and Choral Conducting” with the Masters B. Zagni, G. Kirschener at the “A. Zecchi” Music Association of Ravenna. At the Abbey of Montecassino “choral singing and choir conducting courses” with M ° W. Marzilli and again in Fano (PU) in the “European Academy for Choir Directors” organized by Fe.ni.ar.co with M ° G. Graden. He graduated in “Orchestra Conducting” under the guidance of Maestro Dario Lucantoni, subsequently attending courses for substitute conductor at the “F. Fenaroli” association of Lanciano (CH) with Maestro D. Lucantoni. He attended courses for “ Orchestra Conductor” at the Academy Musicale Chigiana di Siena with Maestro G.Gelmetti. In July 2015 he participated as an auditor in the masterclass of M ° R. Muti, on Flastaff by G. Verdi, at the “Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy”.

From January 2006 to 2008 he was invited as the first permanent director of the choir of the Ankara State Theater. He also conducted the orchestra and soloists in the symphonic concerts in the seasons of the aforementioned Theater. In the artistic seasons 2008 and 2009 he was also the director of the “Turkish State Polyphonic Choir” taking care of the artistic activity of the two entire seasons.

In 2011 he signed the contract as conductor in the Ankara Opera House, and after three years of considerable artistic success he was appointed General Music Director of the aforementioned opera institution in September 2013. He carries out an intense artistic activity as orchestra conductor from the 2007 season to today at the Ankara theater and in the opera houses of Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya. He was entrusted with many productions from the opera repertoire, including: “Don Pasquale”, “L’Elisir d’Amore”, “Convenienze e inconvenienze theatrical” and “Rita” by G. Donizetti; “I Puritani” (V. Bellini); Wolf-Ferrari’s “Susanna’s Secret”; “Don Giovanni”, “The Marriage of Figaro”, “Cosi fan tutte” by W.A.Mozart; “Manon Lescaut”, “Tosca”, “Turandot”, “La Bohème” by G.Puccini; “Tamerlano” by G.F. Haendel; IX Symphony by L.van Beethoven; G.Bizet “Carmen”; “La Cambiale di Matrimonio”, “Maometto II”, “The Barber of Seville”, “La Cenerentola”, “Signor Bruschino” by G. Rossini; “A Masquerade Ball”, “Macbeth”, “La Traviata”, “Attila”, “Rigoletto” and “Aida” by G.Verdi.

In July 2011 he was invited by the Istanbul State Opera to conduct the opening night of the “II Istanbul International Opera Festival”, conducting G. Rossini’s Maometto II.

In 2013 and 2014 he conducted G. Verdi’s “Rigoletto” and “Attila” at the “Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival” with the Ankara State Opera.

In May 2013 he was awarded the “Semiha Berksoy” prize as the best opera conductor in Turkey of the 2012/2013 opera season.

In 2016 he directed the “Tosca” at the “Taormina Opera Festival”, at the ancient Greek amphitheater of the homonymous city. He met with considerable success with the public and critics, including the “Bellininews” who wrote: “Maestro Alessandro Cedrone was able to give the poignant musical score a refined and accurate reading, detaching the exact times, determined his gesture, contained the sounds never above the vocal parts “.

In October 2017 he was invited by the “Z. Kodaly Institute “of” F. Liszt Academy of Music ”in Budapest to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the death of the illustrious Hungarian composer Z. Kodaly. Celebratory concert, was held in the prestigious Great Hall of the “F. Liszt Academy of Music” in Budapest. The event was enormously successful and Maestro Cedrone was invited to record a CD (published in 2020) with the “Budapest Strings Chamber Orchestra” with the Hungarian record label “Hungaroton”.

In November 2017 he was invited to open the 2017/2018 opera season of the “Teatro Sociale” of Rovigo, conducting “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” under the direction of Massimo Pizzi Gasparon Contarini.

He was invited in 2018 to the 9th Istanbul International Opera Festival conducting “La Traviata” under the direction of the famous director H. Henning Brockhaus.

From September 2018 to March 2021 he was the General Music Director of the “Romanian National Opera of Iasi”. Directing numerous opera titles, he had an intense artistic activity with the Romanian National Opera of Iasi, enjoying considerable success with audiences and critics.

To the operatic repertoire he combines the symphonic repertoire obtaining considerable success with audiences and critics, collaborating with symphonic institutions such as: “Orkestra Ankara”, “Limak Symphony Orchestra”, “Bursa State Symphony Orchestra”, “Filarmonia Veneta Regional Orchestra”, “Ankara Presidential Symphony Orchestra”, “Adana State Symphony Orchestra”,  “Izmir State Symphony Orchestra”, “Antalya Symphony Orchestra”  and “Budapest Strings Chamber Orchestra”.
